I'm sorry Heidi, this one didn't do it for me. Pat is annoying. Fred is kinda a coward and hard to get behind. The dog thing is awesome, but he's barely present, why, I'm not real sure. I'm normal cool with nievity in characters if it works with the story line, but I'm not a fan of characters that are downright dumb.I couldn't finish...

enjoyable not much to say
Good book fun to read
This is a good Fantasy series. I have read the first two already and purchased the third as well.
The Unwilling Apprentice was at least as good as the first book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down.
I loved the first of these books and enjoyed this one too. It has an exciting plot and enjoyable characters. This one continued the adventure and made me want to read the third.
Some unexpected twists and turns kept me turning the pages. A thoroughly enjoyable book. Heidi has the makings of a good writer. Ordering the next book in the series now.
Easy read buildup of characters are well done can not wait to read book 3. Once I started reading it was very tough to put down until I was finished.
